Mr. Ibrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of BTSO stated that Production Reform Package will reduce the heavy financial burden on industrialists and open up new investments "Bursa business world will be one of the most benefiting cities from this package. In this regard, we are excitedly waiting for the new investments to open up and to enact the package that will power our production. " Mr. Ibrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of BTSO, Mr. Faruk Özlü; Minister of Science Industry and Technology made evaluations on the announced 'Production Reform Package'. President Burkay said that with the strengthening political stability following the referendum, Turkey is focusing on economic reforms again. President Burkay expressed that the economic parameters that boosted the morals with rise of democracy and political achievements have provided confidence to investors and said that “A new process is underway, in which the decision mechanism works faster and the structural reforms are realized quicker."

Mr. Burkay emphasized that they were excitedly waiting for the package to pass through the Assembly as Bursa business world. Recalling that every reform and incentive motive gives great motivation to the business world, President Burkay said, "In the foreseeable future we will pursue the goals of our country and our Bursa with ascending enthusiasm as a business world".

President Burkay said that the production support package will reduce the costs of the industrialists and encourage investments. Mr. Burkay added that the 77-point package would solve many of the issues that the industrialists had been impatiently waiting, expressing that the package would ease the economy and speed up the growth. “Many positive arrangements such as the increase of the TRT share in the real estate tax and electricity consumption, the moving of the industrial areas in the city outside the city, the OIZs to work with the railways and the support for domestic production will provide important contributions to the growth journey of our companies.
BTSO’S REIT REQUEST ENTERED THE PACKAGE
Mr. İbrahim Burkay emphasized that the issue of bringing up the right to establish real estate investment trusts (REIT) to the Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) that are among the demands of the BTSO takes place in the new package. He has also reminded that there are 21 OIZs in Bursa, "With this article the industrial property is getting rid of the necessity of acquiring property and obtaining industrial parcels. In this regard, businesses that do not want to buy industrial parcels will be hired for leasing.
