BTSO Academy Project is a training and development platform. The trainings within the Academy Project are delivered by the leading universities and training institutions of the country as per the needs of the business community.
A training-needs inventory has been prepared for the development programs under the Academy as per the feedback received from the committees and the councils. The training calendar has been shaped in accordance with the suggestions of the committees.
In case of demand of at least 15 people, the trainings are delivered by expert trainers of the Middle East Technical University, Boğaziçi University, Uludağ University, Bilgi University, Sabancı University, Özyeğin University and Turkish Institute of Management Sciences (TUSSIDE) of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) within the BTSO Academy Project.
Applications for the trainings are submitted online (www.btso.org.tr and akademi.btso.org.tr).
In addition, the BTSO is establishing a life-long training center for the mid and senior level managers at the Kirazlıyayla Sanatorium within the context of the project which contributes to the conversion and transition of the business community in Bursa. The Kirazlıyayla Sanatorium which was built in the early years of the Republic by Architect Emin Onat and Leyla Tomsu as a therapy center for the tuberculosis patients will serve as a training center for the senior managers of the business community.
The BTSO won the tender of the Regional Directorate of Forests to realize the BTSO Academy Project in the historical building. Similar training centers such as Insead of France and Wilton Park of the UK were examined and the building will be the training base of the business community with its new features.
