The Energy Efficiency Center, established within the scope of
the Green Growth Project, constitutes a significant milestone in adapting an
environmentally conscious growth-oriented business model to our
members.
Implemented in the Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone with the support of
BTSO, BEBKA and a budget of 1.25 million TL, the Energy Efficiency Center
conducts studies on increasing efficiency in the use of energy resources,
trains energy managers for industrial establishments and buildings, organizes
practical training programs for energy efficiency to be used in feasibility
project training, provides laboratory services to energy sector professionals
in the Marmara Region and conducts public awareness campaigns on energy
conservation.
Within the framework of our Green Growth Project, all industrial zones in
our city have signed the Clean Production Cooperation Protocol under the
leadership of Bursa Governorship and the coordination of BTSO, with the
participation of the Metropolitan Municipality and Uludağ University,
focusing on the development of a sustainable and environmentally conscious
business model. This protocol and signature set an example for the Turkish
industry, bearing the distinction of being the first of its kind in the
country.
The facility, consisting of 5 units, includes a furnace, saturated steam
boiler, cooling unit, lighting unit and compressed air unit.
Efficiency in the use of energy resources is increased, energy managers are
trained and a practical training facility for energy efficiency is provided
for use in feasibility project training.
