Introducing Turkey to the concept of Organized Industrial Zones,
Bursa has assumed a leadership role in production and exports by initiating
the establishment of the Technology Industrial Zone (TEKNOSAB) during a
period when the foundations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are being
laid in global economies.
This substantial investment, symbolizing Turkey's transition to advanced
technology production and the new industrial revolution, will be executed in
collaboration with our Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality, and Karacabey
Municipality. The objective is to transform Bursa into a center that exports
products from smart factories worldwide.
TEKNOSAB, with the goal of production based on knowledge and innovation, aims
to enhance competitiveness in international markets. Positioned with a 3-hour
flight distance to major global markets and connected to highway, railway,
and port projects, TEKNOSAB will effectively reduce logistical costs. Through
smart factory buildings and reliable/renewable energy sources, it will
generate a significant portion of its energy and mitigate the environmental
impact of facilities located outside industrial zones.
By amalgamating technology, innovation, logistics, and sustainable energy
through its organized trade center, R&D and excellence centers, BTSO
Technology University, robust fiber optic infrastructure, and fully
integrated logistics village, TEKNOSAB aspires to propel Bursa towards an
export value of $8 per kilogram and an annual income of $35,000 per
capita.
TEKNOSAB is poised to shape the next century of Bursa by facilitating the
transition to advanced technology production.
