For the first time in Turkey, Sectoral Councils, initiated under the leadership of BTSO, have evolved into a platform for collective intelligence involving members of the chamber and stock exchange, local governments, public and civil society organizations, academic chambers, and universities.
Since 2013, Sectoral Councils have been active in strategic areas, shaping the roadmap of the Bursa economy. Projects that contribute value to the city and serve as role models for Turkey, such as TEKNOSAB, SME OSB, Energy Efficiency Center, Kitchen Academy, Textile and Technical Textile Excellence Center, are among the most significant outcomes of the council structure.
In the new period, Sectoral Councils have commenced efforts for the qualified transformation of the Bursa economy.
