President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the official opening ceremony of the factories that started production in Bursa Technology Organized Industrial Zone-TEKNOSAB, which was realized under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) to ensure the transformation of the industry with a high added value production model.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede, Bursa Deputy Refik Özen, BTSO and TEKNOSAB Chairman İbrahim Burkay, Karacabey Mayor Ali Özkan, Beyçelik Holding Chairman Faik Çelik, Beyçelik Gestamp Chairman Baran Çelik, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Murat Demir and representatives of the business sector attended the ceremony held at the Beyçelik Gestamp factory in TEKNOSAB. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan officially inaugurated 6 new factories with a total investment of 6 billion 785 million liras in TEKNOSAB, attending the ceremony via video conference.
" Bursa is a city needing more industrial areas"
Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, stated that Bursa is one of the key cities of Turkey's industry and said, "We need to expand the industrial areas of Bursa and develop them on a par with the world. During İbrahim Burkay's term, we are undergoing a phase in which we have signed very important joint ventures. Because the Governor of Bursa, the Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and the President of BTSO take joint decisions, Bursa is able to proceed in a very effective way. TEKNOSAB is one of the best examples of this." Hasan Büyükdede pointed out that BTSO generates great benefits for the industry of the city and the country, notably test centers, model factories and training projects, and said, "As the Ministry, I should also mention that we are extremely happy to work with such an exemplary institution like BTSO."

Deputy of Bursa Refik Özen stated that within the scope of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Bursa program, one more investment that will contribute greatly to Turkey's employment, production and development was realized and said, "We opened Beyçelik Gestamp, the largest mold factory of our country, which started its operations in a very important center such as TEKNOSAB. I would like to express that I am very happy to be here and to witness this moment. I would like to thank Mr. İbrahim Burkay, the esteemed president of BTSO, who has been instrumental in bringing TEKNOSAB, which is an exemplary project for our country. " TEKNOSAB to Assume a Major Role in the Industrial Transformation of Our Country"
İbrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTSO, said that TEKNOSAB is a giant pioneering project in Turkey with its high technology-oriented production, high-tech infrastructure, transportation connections and renewable energy resources and is the key to the new economy model. Noting that they made TEKNOSAB ready for investment within a short period of 4 years by blazing a trail in Turkey, President Burkay said that 6 factories have started production in the region and construction works are continuing in 63 factories. President Burkay stated that they aim to complete 60 percent of the investments in the region by the end of this year and start production and said, "We are proud to realize another historical project for our Bursa and our country's economy. TEKNOSAB will play a very important and powerful role in the industrial transformation of our country, creating new employment and accelerating the city's exports. The private sector investments inaugurated in TEKNOSAB and Bursa with the presence of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are an indication of the confidence that our business community has in the future of Türkiye. " Significant Employment will be Provided in an Area of About 8 Thousand Acres"
Karacabey Mayor Ali Özkan reminded that they introduced the 3T vision to create "Big and Strong Karacabey" in 2014 when they were elected to office and said, "Within this framework, we targeted agricultural investments, tourism investments and technological investments. With this project, significant employment will be provided on an area of approximately 8 thousand acres in Taşpınar/ Karacabey. We were involved in the enterprising committee of the new generation organized industrial zone and this is a very big investment for both Bursa and Turkiye. An investment shower is truly happening in our region. These investments will empower us to reach the ideals we aim for. I wish Bursa and our country all the best and I would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed, especially our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."

Baran Çelik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beyçelik Gestamp, stated that both Beyçelik Gestamp and TEKNOSAB will contribute greatly to the country's economy and said, "All economies are in the midst of a huge transformation. Productions with high added value affect the welfare level of countries and the need for higher technology, higher added value emerges day by day. TEKNOSAB is a special industrial zone where companies producing medium and high technology products and increasing the added value in exports will be situated.
