The "Composite Material and Technical Textile Prototype Production and Application Center" Technical Support Project (BUTEXCOMP) is being implemented within the framework of financial cooperation between the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and is conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey under the Competitive Sectors Program. The project is divided into two components: supply and technical support, with an approved total budget of 6,151,512.00 euros.
Aimed at supporting the transformation of SMEs in the technical textile and composite sectors in Bursa's industry, the project is implemented by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) and Bursa Technology Coordination and R&D Center (BUTEKOM). The main goals include fostering the transformation of Bursa's textile and composite industry through a cluster approach, enhancing the competitiveness of SME's and elevating them in regional, national and global value chains.

Specific Objective of the Project:
To improve the capabilities of SMEs operating in the composite material and technical textile sectors in Bursa in terms of prototyping, design and modeling.

The project commenced on October 20, 2021 and will continue its activities for 30 months. It involves collaboration with organizations such as Ministry of Industry and Technology, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bursa Technology Coordination and R&D Center (BUTEKOM) and Competitive Sectors Program.
