Dear press members,
I would like to extend you greetings personally and on behalf of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
We are celebrating the 126th anniversary of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry which was founded in a small room of Koza Inn on the 6th June 1889 with the broad visions of Mr. Osman Fevzi and his friends.
Our Chamber was founded in a period in which people living in this land were worn down with wars and the Industrial Revolution was missed.
The fact that Mr. Osman Fevzi and his friends has dreamed of such achievement and founded our Chamber in a period that the private enterprise began to develop, shows also the value of the vision they have.
I memorialize particularly Mr. Osman Fevzi, his friends and everyone with mercy and gratitude that founded BTSO and got our Chamber here which is one of the rooted organizations of the business world of Turkey.
The inspiration we have taken from the rooted past of us has given us the responsibility to leave a stronger Bursa to the next generations.
Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry which is the largest chamber of commerce and industry of Turkey with its 35 thousand members has been trying to make Bursa a city which will make the leadership of our national development goals with new vision and macro projects.
Most of the projects we have been carrying out in BTSO that we came into power 2 years ago have become examples to the other Chamber and Exchanges in Turkey.
I would like to express my gratitude to our Presidents, Members of the Board of Directors and Assembly, Members of the Professional Committees and Our Members that have made efforts for our Chamber to have a distinguished position. |
