Dear Friends
Mediation system which is carried out to resolve disputes and to reduce the workload is applied in more than 100 countries around the world.
The system which is in effect in USA for more than 50 years and in Europe for more than 40 years is unfortunately in effect in our country for the last 2-3 years.
The mediation system which is an amicable solution method that is not alternative to the judgment is assured with law and regulations in legal disputes extrajudicially.
As you know, disputes which are brought to trial cause the cases to last for years and parties to get exhausted.
Representatives of the business world particularly experience the unnecessary loss of reputation and time in everlasting cases.
At this point, Bursa is one of the leading provinces with regard to the intense business activities.
With the projects carried out until today, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has led the way by being an example to other chambers and exchanges in Turkey.
We have established the first Mediation and Arbitration Center in Turkey in our Chamber.
Through our Mediation and Arbitration Center, we aim at preventing the loss of reputation and time of our approximately 100 thousand members including the partners.
Our members have had the opportunity to solve their disputes lasting for years.
Mediation and Arbitration Center, the project and regulation of it has been prepared by our Chamber completely, has been monitored closely by other Chambers, too.
And many Chambers request our support to carry out the project.
As Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we will organize seminars and training programs for human resources and export departments of our members’ companies about mediation and arbitration.
Besides, we will provide financial support to our members for the cost of the first meeting of the arbitration.
Thus, we aim at expanding the business, creating new employment areas and contributing to our development move in Bursa that we plan to contribute most to the goals of 2023.
I express my gratitude to the representatives of Ministry of Justice and Mr. Hakan Öztatar; head of the Arbitration Department and everyone supporting us while realizing the project. |
