A LASTING IMPRESSION OF JUNIOSHOW ON EXPORT

Junioshow Fair ended which is one of the most important gatherings of the industry in Bursa, the production base of the baby and children's clothing sector. More than 1,000 foreign buyers from nearly 55 countries met with companies and visited by 12 thousand business professionals in 4 days.

Junioshow Fair which is considered as the main event for baby & children ready to wear sector continues to empower the sector. The fair organized under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) and TUYAP Bursa Fairs Inc. collaboration and with the contributions of Baby & Children Ready to Wear Industry and Business Association (BEKSIAD).

Between the dates of 4-7 July, the fair welcomed the visitors and exhibited the 0-12-year-old baby and children's ready to wear autumn-winter creations. More than 1.000 foreign buyers from 55 countries came to the fair with BTSO's Commercial Safari Project and TUYAP's initiatives.

 

BURSA IS UNDER THE WORLD’S RADAR

 

Bursa is considered as the capital of Turkey for baby & children ready to wear sector. The sector representatives in Bursa continue to globalize through this fair. Companies from various counties such as from Canada to Ghana, Russia to England, Kazakhstan to Algeria with international high level brand values participated at the fair.

Bursa sector representatives started the second half of 2018 with high spirits through the fair where the intensive business negotiations were held for 4 days. In addition to buyers arrived from abroad, many business professionals from nearly 45 cities attended the fair.

 

THE SECTOR IS DESIROUS FOR EXPORT

 

Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the Board of Directors of BTSO stated that Bursa has high brand value in baby & children ready to wear sector and also emphasized the fact that Ur-Ge projects which conducted with the support of Ministry of Economy are sets a higher standard by going beyond the ordinary. Mr. Burkay also expressed that baby & children ready to wear sector, which has great contribution to the export of the Bursa economy, has increased its foreign trade volume every passing year. “The 116% increase of our UR-GE companies in 2016 verifies the sector’s decision for export.   While the sector has achieved 7.1% export increase in Bursa scale in 2017, BTSO's Ur-Ge member companies export has increased by more than 40%. This performance shows us the desire of our companies for export.”

 

JUNIOSHOW IS NOW WORLD’S LEADING BRAND

 

Stating that Bursa has a great potential in the baby and children's ready to wear sector, Mr. Burkay emphasized that Junioshow Fair has made a great contribution to opening the industry to the world.

 

Mr. Burkay emphasized that this fair become an organization that is recognized not only in Bursa and Turkey but also throughout the world and added " The project owes its success to representatives of the sector by virtue of their significant contributions.  Our Bursa companies, which are branded with value-added and design-oriented productions, have strengthened their competitiveness through Ur-Ge projects and became players in the global arena with their foreign programs. We will continue to reap the fruits of the fair that we have organize twice a year in line with the demand from our industry in the future years. As BTSO, we will continue to lead the export-oriented growth of our industry with new organizations. "

 

11, 828 BUSINESS PEOPLE FOCUSED ON BURSA’S MARKET

 

Mr. İlhan Ersözlü; General Manager of TUYAP Bursa Fairs Inc. evaluated the second gathering of 2018 and stated that the fair has been visited by 11 thousand and 828 business people. Mr. Ersözlü also noted that 110 companies with specially decorated stands exhibited their latest fall-winter concept collections in the fair which made significant contribution to added value of both the region and the country's economy through million dollars’ worth of orders. Mr. Ersözlü; “Junioshow Fair, which grew by 25% compared to the fair held in July last year, visited by business people from 55 countries mainly from Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Algeria, Morocco, Iran, Greece and other countries through the support and works of BTSO’s Commercial Safari Project and Ministry of Economy and TUYAP’s overseas representative offices. The network established at Junioshow Fair have contributed greatly to the industry's production, competition and exports. "

 

FIRST GATHERING FOR 2019; 09-12 JANUARY

Mr. İlhan Ersözlü informed that the next Junioshow fair will be held between 09-12 January 2019 and added “We are already preparing for the upcoming Junioshow fair which will introduce the ‘Spring –Summer’ concept to its visitors. The fair, where the decorated stands will be exhibited, will be realized with the participation of companies who wishes to enter in to new markets and increase their current share.”

THE SECTOR WILL CONTINUE TO GROW

 

Mr. Ömer Yıldız; President of BEKSIAD stated that companies of Bursa have realized important business connections throughout the fair. The fair, which we develop every year, has achieved yet another remarkable success this year. At Junioshow Fair, BTSO and foreign buyers who came to our city with the initiatives of TUYAP have added strength to the export targets of the sector through the business connections established by our companies. With 'Junioshow Fair', many of our companies have gained new customers during the fair. At this point, we would like to thank Mr. İbrahim Burkay; esteemed President of the Board of Directors of BTSO and his team, who have always supported the sector.
