The foreign buyers participating in the Industry Summit held under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry conducted almost 700 bilateral business negotiations with Bursa companies as a part of B2B program
BTSO continues to pursue its successful moves to increase competitiveness of the companies in Bursa, has lead sectors to be able to grove qualitatively through Bursa Industry Summit. Within the scope of International Competitiveness Development Projects in the field of machinery, aerospace and defense, composite materials and railway systems, more than 1100 business world representatives from 60 different countries across six continents participated in the summit and bilateral business negotiations were conducted between representatives of foreign business world and representatives of companies in Bursa within the scope of ‘Commercial Safari’ Project. During the B2B meetings held in Bursa International Fair and Congress Centre almost 300 foreign participants conducted about 700 business negotiations.
“ORGANIZATION BEYOND EXPECTATIONS”
Mr. Stevislav Zrnic; who came from Serbia to Bursa for cooperation, said that he had favorable negotiations with companies in Bursa during the summit. He also added that the meetings were very fruitful and the fair was beyond his expectation.
Mr. Hasan Omidzad; from Iran thanked BTSO for its contribution to the fair and said that it was a substantial opportunity for foreign buyers to get to know Bursa companies. Mr. Darakis Georgios; from Athens, Greece expressed that he made new business contacts and he aimed for new cooperation opportunities to be carried out together.
LITHUANIAN COMPANY GAVE THE HIGH SIGN OF INVESTMENT
Mr. Gintare Narkevicilute; CEO of Nexus from Lithuania said that they would like to invest in Bursa. Stating that he came to Turkey before, but it was the first time he was in Bursa. “I was surprised with the level of experience of Bursa and Turkey has in the industry. I especially admired the potential of Bursa. B2B meetings went pretty well. I met with more than 20 people within two hours. I will certainly come to Bursa again. Because smart businesses are carried out in Bursa and in Turkey. I would like to make new investments with companies in Bursa.”

Mr. Muhsin Mardin; one of the member of International Competitiveness Development Project carried out by BTSO, expressed that B2B meetings were fruitful for his company and said “Negotiations were conducted with an intensive tempo. Our companies would get the best of this fair. As a representative of the company, I negotiated with companies from Iran, Moldova and Brazil. All of them were in search of a common investment opportunities. They would like to run business together with Turkish companies. Representatives of companies from Iran and Brazil benefited from the opportunity to visit our production facility. I would like to thank Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry giving us these opportunities.
RIGHT CHOICE OF PARTICIPANTS
Mr. Erkan Kaleci, one of the member of International Competitiveness Development Project carried out by BTSO, thanked to Mr. İbrahim Burkay, President of the Board of Directors of BTSO and his team for their contributions to this organization. Stating that great efforts were made for this organization, Mr. Kaleci said “This organization suited very well to the belief of “Bursa Grows, Turkey grows.” We had talks with companies from Serbia, Ethiopia, Lebanon and Palestine. Our target markets are Northern and Central Africa, the Middle East, Turkic Republics and the Balkans. Consequently, the participants appeal to our target markets.”
