Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues to provide new market opportunities for its members within the scope of Global Fair Agency Project. BTSO that has carried out more than 130 fair organizations so far in line with its export-oriented development targets, took the representatives of Bursa business world to Thailand.
Metalex 2017 as the biggest fair organization in Asia on machinery and metal sectors was held in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. Approximately 900 companies have opened a stand and more than 100 professionals are expected to visit the fair. Representatives of Bursa business world also attended the fair with a delegation of 20 people within the scope of BTSO's Global Fair Agency Project. BTSO members, who had the opportunity to examine the innovations in the sector on site, realized bilateral business negotiations as well as the fair visits. GREAT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FAR EAST
While giving a speech in the meetings in which senior officials of OSMEP (Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion in Thailand) and members of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry visiting the fair organization attended as well, Mr. Evren Dağdeviren Akgün said "2018 was declared as the Culture year of Turkey. This means that the number of new opportunities will increase to enhance commerce between Turkey and Thailand." Akgün referred also to the importance of global fair organizations carried out by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in line with the export targets of Turkey and mentioned that these kinds of organizations will provide significant contributions to the international trade of Turkey.
FIRST FAIR ORGANIZATION IN BANGKOK
Mr. Hasan Gürses; Accountant Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO and Head of Delegation to Thailand for the fair visit, said that as of Bursa business world, they would like to have more share in global markets. By stating that they put Global Fair Agency project into effect four years ago within this context, more than 130 overseas business trips have been organized and more than 5 thousand people have participated in these fair organizations so far. Expressing that there was an intense effort to strengthen both diplomatic relations and commerce between Turkey and Thailand, he also said "As of Bursa business world, we would like increase our efficiency in this market. In this context, we have realized our first fair organization in Thailand. Our member companies had favorable impressions on this fair. Some of our member companies have also received orders for new machines. We aim to continue our fair organizations in line with the demands of our business world in Bursa and to increase our contribution to the city economy.
