Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of Board of Directors of BTSO, stated that “Law on Labor Courts” was prepared in accordance with demands of business world and has a reformative qualification. “BTSO Arbitration and Mediation Centre (BTSOTAM) established for the first time in Turkey to create dispute resolution will render service to our members and employees all the while.
Mr. Burkay said that legislative regulations make it compulsory for employees to consult an arbitrator for meeting their demands such as seniority, notice, overtime, annual leave, remuneration and reemployment, as well as for the demands of the employer and compensation before presenting a case.
Stating that problems in business life can be resolved affably in a short span of time and so work load densities of courts will decrease thanks to the given legislative regulations, Mr. Burkay said “I wish, this reformative regulation will be good for our business world, and I would like to express my thanks to our government and deputies who have approved the decision, especially to Mr. Abdulhamit Gul; Minister of Justice. We will take our members and employees’ side through BTSO Arbitration and Mediation Centre (BTSOTAM).”
