Mr. Gennadiy Chyzhykov; President of the Board of Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Turkish Economy has progressed significantly in terms of advanced technology production.
Mr. Cüneyt Şener; Vice President of the Board of Directors of BTSO, came together with Mr. Gennadiy Chyzhykov President of the Board of Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Cüneyt Şener and Mr. Gennadiy Chyzhykov who came together at the opening of the exhibition called “50 Inventions Bestowed by Ukraine to the World” at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Centre mentioned that trade linkages between Turkey and Ukraine have improved day by day. Mr. Şener expressed that Ukraine has a crucial role for foreign trade of Bursa which is one of production bases of Turkish economy, emphasized that there are 215 companies exporting from Bursa to Ukraine. Mr. Şener also mentioned that cooperation platforms should be formed between Turkish and Ukrainian business world. “We have the potential to increase trade volume between Turkey and Ukraine. Visa-free travel is a great opportunity for both countries.”
TURKEY IS IN A GREAT BREAKTHROUGH
Mr. Gennadiy Chyzhykov; President of the Board of Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry mentioned that Turkey has been in a great breakthrough in the field of economy since 2000s, and said: “Economic Reforms, achievements of export and production contribute to Turkey’s growth. Significant investments are carried out especially for advanced technology and value-added production. Turkey has become an important actor for the world economy with its achievements. It is clear to me that future of Turkish economy has a bright future.”
WE ARE NOT RIVALS IN THE BLACK SEA REGION
Mr. Chyzhykov who commented on visa-free travel expressed: “Ukraine lifted visa requirements for both EU countries and Turkey. Visa-free travel will increase the trade volume and provide new trade linkages between two countries. It is surely beyond doubt that, Ukraine and Turkey are both strategic countries in Black Sea region. Turkey and Ukraine should not be rivals, on the contrary they should be two complementary countries. We can increase this potential by building trade linkages.”
“WE CAN IMPROVE OUR COOPERATION”
Mr. Gennadiy Chyzykov said that Bursa is one of the leading cities which play an important role of the Turkey’s growth. Mr. Chyzhykov also mentioned that he will return to Ukraine from Bursa with favourable impression. “We got the chance to observe that Bursa is one of the leading sectors of the Turkish Economy. I will share my favourable impressions with the Ukrainian Business World. We must improve our cooperation.” |
