Representatives of various sectoral companies from different countries have gathered with companies from Bursa at Bursa International Textile and Trade Center (BUTTIM) as part of Commercial Safari Project of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Representatives of foreign companies visited BUTTIM to participate in buyer delegation organization at Merinos, Bursa as part of BTSO’s realized textile oriented Development of International Competitiveness (UR-GE) project. 100 participant companies were welcomed by Mr. İsmail Kuş; Vice President of the Board of Directors of BTSO, Mr. Ali Tiryaki; President of the Board of Directors of BUTTİM and members of the Assembly. The gathering started off with a briefing about the center which has been the main location for Bursa’s textile since 1996 with almost 700 establishments. The delegation continued to visit the companies and had commercial meetings.
“WE WILL GAIN MORE STRENGTH IN OUR SECTOR”
Mr. İsmail Kuş; Vice President of the Board of Directors of BTSO stated that the chamber continues works which provide added value to Bursa’s success in export and they will continue to increase Bursa’s power in textile sector. “We have gathered 226 foreign company representatives from 20 countries with representatives of textile sector in Bursa, following the organization at Merinos the delegation proceeded to gather with our companies at BUTTIM. I believe activities as such, will have significant contribution to our company export.”
1200 BUSINESS MEETING
According to Mr. Kuş’s statement, there has been more than 1200 bilateral business meeting took place at Merinos AKKM. The 537 of the meetings resulted with order. “The occurred results have shown how the conducted works have significant importance. As BTSO, we will continue without break considering our Bursa business world oriented international organizations”
WE WISH BUTTIM TO GLOBALIZE
Mr. Ali Tiryaki; President of the Board of Directors of BUTTİM expressed that BUTTIM is one of the most important trade center for textile sector and that the organizations held in collaboration with BTSO has significant contribution to Bursa’s exporter identity and textile sector. “BUTTIM gathers hundreds of brands under the same roof for more than 20 years. I would like to take opportunity to thank BTSO for their foreign buyer delegation programs as the programs brought vitality to both our sector and center.” |
